Silent screaming

words streaming

lips moving

nothing proving

endless chatter

empty matter

heart not beating

death by meeting.

Bad day? sigh....you write of this torture very well my friend...the fast pace is an effective tool to describe the impatience felt just to get the hell outta there! Ah yes, I remember it well!

oh, the joys of office life.
a man named Billy Powers (at that time the third richest man in the world) once said that the best way to keep meetings short was to make them happen in rooms with no chairs - anyone who wanted to blather on with nothing to say would get shouted down, all the essentials would be covered, and then you could all go on to do something more useful.
this, i think, proves his point
not many words, but a whole lot got expressed. great write!
