Thanksgiving comes once every year
I'm saddened that I have to have it without you here
Grandma you always made the best sugar cookies
To gobble them up in one night is all it took me
So I will be thinking of you as the family gathers around the table
I wish you could come back to me but you aren't able
I remember your favorite was pumpkin pie
I'll eat a piece for you and try my best not to cry
I hope you're having a feast with the angels above
However, I know God is taking care of you
with his unconditional love
Last but not least
I'll say a pray for you
so that you can rest in peace

Savor a piece of pumpkin pie for grandma, and with each and every bite, she will be smiling.

She'll be there in spirit dear RosePetal, I'm sure, nibbling of the pumpkinpie.

They are never again complete when you lose one you love.  She will be there in spirit, RP.  Happy Thanksgiving, my friend.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Joanna, this poem made me cry so very much, but not just of the sorrow you feel, but also the love in your beautiful heart, and how your grandma will never forget you, for you are her little angel, and she will always smile down upon you to watch you become the most loving person, and guide you with her love always, as the angels will be with her always! (big hugggsssssss) You are such a beautiful person, and a true angel to me! I love you! (kiss on cheek) I hope you had the happiest Thanksgiving! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joanna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

How well I can relate to this....I too was thinking of a special someone I have loss,
it was my 27y/o son I loss 5yrs. ago and the only thing that keeps me sane is to know he is still here with me, for he will forever be in my heart. A very touching and beautiful poem.......~lewisone~
