Where Willows Weep

Beside the lake where waters sleep
And dreams of love in silence creep
We watch the evening shadows fall
Upon the stillness of it all

Sweet twilight lays across the west
Its veil of dark on hilly crest
The night descends, the waters cool
And bathe the stars on rippled pool

The moon is spread with halo mist
And shines where love and dreams exist
Beside the lake of waters deep
Where lovers kiss and willows weep

Well I loved the title!  A change in scenery has done you well, I won't say this is better than the norm, as all are excellent, but it was so soft, delicate and gentle and in perfect "Santos Rhyme".

Elizabeth,

It has been WAY to long since I have read your lovely words.  I forgot how beautifully you write.  Thank you for reminding me.
