tall trees along creek
warming up in late sunshine
ready for the night

fragile decorum
for a brown-yellow sunset
their feet firm in soil

they are standing guard
watching changes in landscape
one day they will fall

Until the day they fall they will reflect a magic only they can. Absolutely beautiful. A full vision of words and painting you have given with these poems. I love them.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Trees help us in many ways, thank you for sharing this. May we all treasure trees and try not to take them forgranted

Hi, thanks for reading and your replies.
There's lot of cutting down trees here going on, cause they were planted just after WW2 and now, after 50 years, there ready for use.

But most of the time they'll plant new ones again.
