Today I sit here reminiscing of when you and I first met on that fateful day
I remember the gentle feelings of my heart, when love first made its stay
In the midst of another love, I was confused and
feeling very sad indeed
Never in a million years, did I think your love would be what I would so desperately need

You have unlocked the chains around my heart and made me feel whole

Through the past two months, it's been a pleasure to feel the gift of your amazing love

Then again, maybe it's your smile, and how my life you light
All these are reasons that I long to make you my lifetime partner, to hold you tight

You unlocked the chains, you taught me how to love again, to enjoy life as I should
Making me feel things I thought I had long buried, making me experience emotions deeper than I thought I could
I think of you each and everyday, you are so very precious to me
It is my hope that our love can last forever, an eternity
