A Tear

A
tear,
unseen
from deep
within longing
heart starts to fall
from lashes no longer
able to hold back this pain
A single tear streaks cheek with
salty wetness as it leads the way for
the path of many more tears to follow
that the pain of a heart who feels alone
and lost without love of friends to help
lift his hurting spirit and hold his heart
safe in this time of indecision now
placed within a heart unsure
Just from one single tear
filled with love

how interesting. this can't be easy, forming words to ascii art. the tear turned out well, and the words filling it seem genuine and full of emotion. delightfully done. guess i'll go read a bit about gene's perdicterment now.

Fabulous  form and verse, Karen.  We all need to know we are not as alone as we think every now and then.  You have shown great caring and compassion with this one.

Karen --
You already know how much I appreciate your friendship and what a beautiful way to show it. This was totally unexpected and I'm very touched.

Everyone --
Thanks to y'all too. I won't go into details here, but if you're interested, you can read my reply here:
