God’s Traits?
By Larry Chadwick

From here to eternity
How long is that?
From here to forever,
I can’t imagine that.

Worlds with out end,
Where do they start?
Traveling the breadth,
It’s best now I depart.

God without a beginning,
How can that really be?
If He didn’t ever start,
It’s so confusing to me.

And He is omnipresent,
I’d like to give it a try.
But it’ll wear me out,
I’ll just see if He is nigh.

And how does He create,
By only speaking a word?
Now that takes divinity,
In case you hadn’t heard.

My finite mind cannot tell,
How God can do all this.
I guess I’ll just trust Him,
How can I possibly miss.

Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either.  larry c

Divinity
is resident
without contradiction
in each of us.
to understand the nature of God,
one must first understand himself,
and then your eyes will see
that which Is, and that
which might Be.
Each explanation
good for one person only,
as God's voice depends
on the ears that choose to hear him.

Dave,
Only when we invite Him in. Thanks for the response.

Peaches,
Thanks. I came close to spraining something. Those are brainteasers in my book!

Questions that do indeed sprain the brain, Larry C! But must say, they did spawn some interesting responses. I humbly add, "consider the lilies of the field--they toil not, nor do they spin..." now if I could just convince myself of that, I might be able to sleep!

Our finite minds can only understand so much, that's for sure! Great expression, Larry!

Denise,
So true! There is enough there I think I'll sprain something in my attempt to understand. Thanks.

Seymour,
A must! 'Cause I can't figure it all out. Thanks.
