Our Love Goes On They tell me man is mortal, And too swiftly years do fly. It seems he hardly enters life, Ere comes his time to die. But I cannot believe it, And even if it's true- When these old bones, are dead and gone... I'll go on loving you. My voice will be upon the wind- My form among the trees- You'll feel my kiss and my carress, On every gentle breeze. They tell me that my time is near- But I know that they're wrong... For though they lay this flesh to rest, Our love goes on and on. |

the best line, the one that truly sums up the sentiment exactly, was somehow captured by a screenwriter, of all people - in Phenomenon. "i can't promise i'll love you for the rest of your life, but i'll love you for the rest of mine." here, you have managed to transcend even that. bravo. -Dave |
