The essence of yew

arouses my scent-elation.

Captivating, timeless

savory essence of yew

brings scintillating

thoughts of you.

Your uncommon good sense.

Your titillating scents.

Scent-elation of You.

My yew has been gone for many years and so my memory of its scent as well, but it must have a pwerful, sweet scent that epitomizes the emotion in this piece. Enjoyed the read and thanks for reading and commenting on my "First Freeze"!!!

VAS, thanks to you too. Sorry to hear your yew is gone. The yew has great healing properties, but I've heard it is disappearing rapidly. Progress...or some such lame explanation.

Now Larry, that makes such sense! You gave me your best two cents worth, and since you did, I'll give you an extra hug.

Wonder if I plug this into my wall outlet...if it'll make the whole house smell like fresh yew?  Or will I just get shocked?

Carolina, thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed.

Duncan, LOL. You are already the essence of yew. Just walk around the room briskly, you are bound to leave yew scent along the way.
ROTFLMAO. Have a scentfully good day.

LOL..Reading this entire thread has rendered me scent-less.  It's like at the perfume counter when you try on too many ...and after awhile...yew all smell the same?!  Cute write...enjoyed. hugs, Nancy.

yew sure started something!  Actually yew are grown on Vancouver Island in B.C. for medicinal purposes and they also make jewellery out of the seeds and bark too.  They are absolutely beautiful trees and hard to believe they are older than Christianity.  yada yada, LOL, this was great!

Enchantress, LOL "Yew all smell the same"

Sven, yew too (U2) are so clever!

Richard, glad you didn't capitalize that ripple. Not a good scent.

Mysteria, nice info! Yew jewelry sounds scintillating. (PS thanks for the email, food for thought)

How sweet of you to send me a bouquet. How did you know I love that wonderful fresh just-harvested-today scent?
I love this month, even on nights were I'm freezin my buns off just to walk my dog, the stars and the moon always seem to be within my reach.
