Truly, I am maddened now.
My head a loud clock ticking...
ashes fall from fingertips,
cigarette--aflame, forgotten.
passion
  smolders
     unremitting...
(fascination of fixation...)
choke-hold
  desire,
      unrelenting...

how odd to call this state, elation.
(repost--due to replay of emotions--heh)

mmmmmmm very interesting. This poem took me to a place where my desires smolder for release only to fall on barren soil. Amazing poem with an interesting vision. Well done.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

I must have missed this one the first time.  This is wonderfully crafted, I loved "choke-hold desire, unrelenting..."  Poignant, precise, and exellent.  I enjoyed!
