Listening to every heart

Little Word

word grasping paper
leaving stories for the soul
poems to ponder

                                    now come, little word
                                    for in dreams you played
                                    scampering in
                                    then out
                                    leaving wisps of sound
                                    on the wind

                                    like leaves of grass
                                    you tickled mind's eye
                                    awakening
                                    life’s story

                                    if you were sent, stay
                                    but if you were imagined,
                                    stay longer
                                    for the places you take
                                    me
are those I would share with all
                                    and more

                                    so ripple me with
                                    your laughter,
let me fall into your pools
                                    of delight
                                    where sun glimmers
                                    moon leaves path
                                    to heaven
                                    and more
                                    your liquidity restoring my soul

little word having
caught my attention now please
stay till love comes too

Enjoyed this, makes me think of the 'word' as a 'bird' -- nice imagery.

Hmmm, that's funny all I could do was sing, "Three Little Words", an old, old song my Aunt used to sing, he he, oh but this kinda liked me.

Often, I write poems in my head as I'm going to sleep...that's what this reminded me of.  And trying to remember them in the morning.
Loved the feel of this.

Words create visions
Unbounded within mind's eye
Endless excursions

A magic word? Not open sesame, perhaps senseofme? Enjoyed.

A delightful read, full of sweet warm sunshine. I sometimes wake in the middle of the night and grab a pen and paper, to scribble a brilliant thought I don't wish to lose like vapor from a tea kettle. But just as often, I lose it in my unwillingness to get up. And just as often, my "brilliance" doesn't look so great the next morning. Sometimes it's illegible, sometimes just incoherent babbling. LOL, I really did enjoy this one. Thanks.
