Just Our Debut

yes, you’re right …..
time is a precious commodity
taking us from half empty
to half full and it’s no oddity

sitting on the beach at twilight
watching shooting stars
grains slowly sift in our glasses
while we walk parallel bars

we have never been strangers
fate has been our best teacher
a dark side, a light side
a shadowed remarkable feature

both poured our tears in rivers
and it didn’t turn it salty
stepped on our share of cracks
to make footing faulty

now you wonder about the end of time
this is just our debut
you rescue me
I rescue you

Great thought, this.  I wish I didn't relate to it so much.

I especially loved those lines.

Lots of emotion and beautiful images you
painted with your heart.

One of your best, Lady.
Love the analogies!

A debut as new and bright as shooting stars?  Aaahhhhhhh, how refreshing !!

This is sweet, and I do love happy endings. A lovely picture painted here.
