Marti got me thinking about the 'birth of motherhood' This is dedicated to my daughter, Debbie THE BEST DAY! Virginia Salter my heart is in flip-flops my head in somersaults my legs are in pirouettes my emotions catapult to hold you in my arms instead of deep within has me reeling with joy my mind in a spin great responsibility is ahead a-million-fold this becoming a mom is far greater than I was told oh, believe me, my sweetheart you have stolen me away and impacted my life in a billion different ways butterflies are flitting within the vessel neath my heart Oh, Sweet Lord up above, please help me do my part! ©November 16, 2001 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
