I don’t want to tread along the waterside;
I don’t want to bleed from the skies...
Everyday directs me to a road of faraway color;
Downhill tracks lure me away...
Can I drag you with me--
With me to find the bridge that gets us safely across
That mile of pompous abyss?
I can’t walk anymore;
I haven’t the desire to stare at the clouds...
You have to be as restless as I am;
You’ve got to hold within your mind
The impatience of an exploding volcano...
Roll with me down to the stream--
There we might just find the sympathetic kind.
I’m tired...I’m weary of waiting.
Where are the promised words?
What could be keeping the guaranteed quiet?
Help me not to repeat the issues at hand...
Make sure I steer clear of the stresses of everyday living
Without you.

*sorry, guys...I know I haven't been around much lately, but the 'muse' is, well, perhaps playing cruel jokes on me... ...

And did you know with the rain in your pockets,
you can change the weather...

Well I dont get out much but Im thinkin the bridge is not too far from Stauntin
very cool phrases and images here ...
and the longing and ache rise off the page.
Is this where we are supposed to talk about patience and plans?
Or walk on our lips? hehehe
ACK...nevermind...Im a moth...I got lots of chapstick(blahblah)

Good to see your name here me dear

You're the hidden cost and the thing that's lost in everything I do.
In the sunlight, in the shadows ...
No ... I'll never stop looking for you.

Hmmm, it takes a bit of thought here but well worth the effort.
I enjoyed what I understood to be your meaning.

Dee

I wish you every happiness and may you always have the best of the good things in life.     a brand

This one speaks volumes to me sp.  Wonderful work and write.  I hope your muse comes out of hibernation soon!

They say that a little over 134,872,190 little white lines on the road to the new horizon is all it takes to find the peace that is sought and I hope that this last little jaunt did just that sweets.  You know I KNOW and of course I concur, but hey, every step is a step closer to the eternal explosion waiting to erupt deep inside us.  Beautiful writing and excellent use of metaphors to capture the feelings.  You even nailed the cadence and you know I love that.  Big hugs and kisses baby.  I love you.

ps.  grab a breeze, pull up a blade of grass, and join me in the tomorrow.
