The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2001-11-15 10:07 PM

Broken, crumpled, torn to bits
little left after that hit
just enough to hold a shred
of the hope love is not dead.

Still she yearns and wonders why
daily she will always cry
special love that went away
nothing could have made him stay.

Her heart must release the pain
come inside out of the rain
regroup and hold close her soul
these are things she surely knows.

One night when the moon is full
she'll again feel gentle pull
learn to trust and love once more
open full her shuttered door.

Till then, still it's hard to do
living life in misty blue..

I know I am one to talk but when a heart is made for love like yours is love will surely find it. Keep hope alive and the moon will work its magic upon your heart. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

The healing has already begun....and healing is painful.

I always said, "a punch in the face doesn't hurt. It's healing that hurts like hell..."

I offer you some mugwort and love, lol...HUGS miss sandra!

Sometimes, there is nothing you can do to change it or make him stay.  Very well written, Sandra.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

There is nothing as resiliant as the human spirit....and no desire as great as love. It will come...

Yes, release the pain ...
and look ahead,
a time that love may reign
and pull you to its bed.

Its a difficult thing to focus from such hurt, when the heart is so alert.
Be strong maiden fair ... time does come.

*Smile gentle soul....things WILL get better*

Some things will never truly go away, but over time, they will fade into the distance (this statement comes from one who understands, as you know).  A heartfelt write though...

Wounds feel okay
When salt is not involved.
Time gives silence;
it also gives emptiness.
A long time it may seem,
A pull of string would lead to explode.
A time when healing seems to be impossible,
Somone will give joy to you
So great...that the wounds would be dusts.

Sandra,
Sorry you have to feel this way.Over time these feelings will fade into the background and happier ones will oversweep them.
