Strings Of My Heart
~*Marge Tindal*~

I walk toward you in purposeful stride
gathered in the gifting of your love
Knowing full-well you compose the songs
my heart needs so tenderly to hear

I need no juke-of-box
playing the classics of yesteryear
for only in sharing today's heartstrings
can we blend the music of our sweet tomorrows

So, meet me in the sound booth
where soft tender moments will be strummed
I'll sit content while you play our future
on the strings of my heart

You play me so expertly I can hardly tell~
where the composing ends and the rapture begins~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~
