Time, insistent,
subtle subduing
into linear living,
where Monday
follows Sunday,
when I,
wind-swept reed,
bend painfully back,
vainly grasping for roots,
watch helplessly
as the sands slip
from under me.
Another victim,
passionless annihilation,
erosion.

Incredible imagery here. I can see those sands slipping, eroding the foundation of love. Hope this finds you well.
