I see a cloud in the sky
And a dove on the cable,
Each solitary and high,
Yet the two form a couple.

there's nothing that I can say;
it just appears to me that way.

The cloud has the great blue sky,
And the dove has the cable,
Together, though passing by,
These pairs colour this fable.

i'm stuck amidst all these pairs;
each one in its own affair(?)

Like two ends planning to meet,
An event in its happen,
They join to enjoy their treat,
Then part to find new havens.

the white cloud and the blue sky,
the sweet dove and the cable,
the grand pen and the paper,
the brown chair and the table,
the tough fork and the sharp knife,
the steel spoon and the soup bowl.

While I feign that I am alone
I watch the game and ponder,
And draw these sights that are shown
Armed with pen and white paper.

and somewhere else in this space
there's you and your loved one's face

Life has that lovely incense,
All I should do is open,
My eyes, my ears, my senses
And drink its beauty potion.

happy hour is a term invented by people who run a pub or a bar so that all those who drink, drink more, and in turn end up spending the same amount of money as the 'unhappy' hour ... but then if I can drink the magic water of life, why would really I mind which hour? I am intrigued, as always!

Your words are like a fine oil painting, a Renoir scene. And you, the intrigued  observer, sketched into the surrounding life with your own paintbrush.

it is wonderful to write about something you view and make it read so beautifully!

This is wonderful, Sudhir, you did some very interesting things here. The style is very good, and I have to agree with your end notes.
