The Rhymester

You leave impressions
on my pages,
embossing your name
surreptitiously
upon my spine;
a subplot
folded into the envelope rhyme
of a love poem,
not unlike
the Byron
read in my bed.

If you must draw an analogy,
paint me as the tempest
of your dreams.
