Liquid Distraction

every time I look
the kaleidoscope changes
mobile turning ‘round
holding it to my eyes
slipping stones move
color rearranges

tilting turning
to the light
shapes appear
and disappear
when I don’t hold
my eyes just right

ending as fast
as it began
melting liquid motion
explodes in color
dazzling emotional commotion

a catch of eye
life’s attraction
gentle forgetfulness
in unexpected distraction

"I have already paid for all my future sins."  Sade...(King of Sorrow)

The constant change of a kaleidoscope
In every turn comes a unique creation
With all the colors of a rainbow

"a catch of eye
life's attraction
gentle forgetfulness
in unexpected distraction"

enjoyed this very much
