In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2001-11-12 09:51 AM

Golden embrace
of mother
ocean rocking
waves of
scarlet mist
upon the shore
deeper yet,
in search of
a long sleep
with pearl roads
and moonlit strands

The afternoon
sun touches
the hills,
filling my eyes
with beauty
did you know?
there are stars
below the sky
is that
eternity's last witness?
a heart beating
a life passing
a baby crying
souls
shinning through darkness
and still
the streets
reflect nothing
as the gray
rain covers
and spring breezes
make you drunk

The rain is
fire in the sky
I sing the storms
and watch as the
earth is born anew
and the woods
stand silent
cutting the
horizon since time
began

The ripple affect on the
water is calming
reflecting
the being of light in
spiral blue

I still believe that
people are really good at heart.

You paint a beautiful vision that comes to life as you gaze with the magic of wonder in your eyes. Absolutely stunning. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Lauren, this is amazing, I mean it. It's so tranquil.

Delicate and lovely thought you have woven in your words Lauren.  Well done.  *s*

as is your poety my friend...as are your softly cascading words...
L, this is sooo lovely....
I do so love the way your poetic mind whispers across the page.
*sigh*

You're the hidden cost and the thing that's lost in everything I do.
In the sunlight, in the shadows ...
No ... I'll never stop looking for you.
