The winds of time have blown over me countless days.
My weathered face, though older, still shows truth.
Features once that of a young boy, young man...
Now not as erect, slower, but ever gentle now.

My mind, once consumed with fire and lust.
Now graced with wisdom, faith, trust and love.
Spewing forth my inner thoughts, feelings.
My inner self stands  proud inside me, I still grow.

A voice once of a boy, now soft as a puppies fur.
My eyes, tired from work, little sleep, tears
Reflecting the beauty of you before me.

The lust I once had,  rekindled by you, your essence.
The yearning and passion growing daily within.
Chills overwhelm me as I feel your words of love.
My breath, ragged and fast betray my thoughts.

I feel now young again, vitality overwhelms me.
Veins once only half full of blood now a raging flood.
My hands, though worn, still gentle, lightly caress.
I sleep with them on my heart, for there I hold you.

My dreams, once dark shadows and shapes have you.
You, your eyes.... flowing before me, calling my name.
I rise at the thought of your touch, your hot breath.
My days, longer now....for I cannot wait to hold you.
My fount of love overflows as I wait.
Come,  drink with me...Share eternal life...

How long is eternity....when you have it all?

I loved reading these kinds of thoughts...you sound very much in touch with your inner child.....that little boy that still knows how to play! and feel   it's a wonderful feeling isn't it?

(sigh) I can relate to these older feeling so very well, for I am growing through adolescence, and I always have thoughts of passion consuming my mind every now and then. (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet Magnus, your love always shines in every one of your words and you make eternity truly forever! (sigh) BRAVO!!! You have such a beautiful heart, dearest Magnus, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Magnus; I stopped by to visit and read some poetry.  This is such a lovely and gentle poem.  I am glad I had the time to read. It touched me like a healing balm.  Your writing is getting better all the time.  Wanda

Ah Magnus, you have expressed and penned well that mature love that comes over time...
Eternity....that's forever and a day, if you are waiting for your loved one.
Eternity...could be forever in a child's mind while awaiting Christmas.
Eternity....this lifetime, and all those past, and, yes, those yet to come....'the way Nancy sees it.
Peace be yours today my friend.
Love it when you leave with a question!

~I've loved you forever, in lifetimes before.~

Oh I like this, what a beauty. Eternity is long long, when it is without the one you love.  Wonder how it is if you are happy. No idea..

Magnus--Beautifully expressed feelings of love...isn't it wonderful to know that love can warm so?  Yes!

I love the whole poem, but that line really got me

How long is eternity....when you have it all?

That is a stunningly beautiful thought.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

how long is eternity?

how long is a minute?
how long is an era?

that's the answer. . . and you share it here very well. . . excellently done. . .

Eternity is indeed eternity when two continue to share the same desires within their hearts...James
