(This is for you, dearest brother!!!)

Rainbow Dancers Timeless Serenade (Dedicated To My Friend Robert William Gruhn And His Love)
By: Noah Eaton
7/21/01

"I remember being a young boy, looking up into the sky from my swing
Watching the sapphire moon and her sister stars twinkle before my very eyes
And how I ever dreamed to jump off my swing and leap beyond the heavens
Running freely through the Milky Way and bring home a souvenir to cherish for dear life

That's when I found you, as I claimed new oceans rocking gently in your eyes
I fell into your sea like a stone, my heart spinning like a carousel ride
You are my angel, gently landing into my world to make my dreams come true
And I knew that this love was real, as our hands melted into the sand as I hold you by the oceanside

I hear your body beat against mine, playing that soft sounding radio tune
Whispers of God's choir plays to my ears finally, hearing you strum eternal instruments
And I carried you in my arms, and you whispered in my ears I'll always be her knight
And you will always be my loving princess, watching the sun rise and set every romantic second

Never will I forget the lipstick you smeared upon my silky cheeks
Artistic masterpiece from an impressionist of a cupid sleeping in my hearts castle
Home is where our love rests, you are the lily of the valley in my redwood wonderland
Your love makes me feel like that boy again, sliding through endless miles of stars and miracles

My sweet darling, you will always rest on the clouds of my hearts paradise
Your Knight will always be here, holding your hope and smiles with loving care
You give me the greatest souvenir anyone can ever have
To be able to hold your heart close to mine...your happiness I will always wear

Now I know why the moon is blue in my special world
I always see it when I look into your tranquil gentle eyes
I will always ride my white horse into this satin blue dream twister of my dreams
I'll always be there for you, for my love for you will last for all our time..."

My dear brother in vision and poet Noah, you have honored me with your wonderful words here, thank you so much for this poem and I truly appreciate that you included some excerpts and thoughts from some of my own poems! To me, that is the greatest honor from such a fine young writer as yourself!
In deep and fondest appreciation, I remain, your friend and fellow poet always and forever. Robert
