My Dream
By: Noah Eaton
12/31/00

I close my eyes, I begin to dream
Of this girl in whom I’ve been dreaming of every night
The future love of mine that I will forever love
She is my dream…

I see her standing gracefully in a meadow with a lake and the mountains towering behind her
A light flurry lifts her long hair into the air as soft as silk, her blue dress shimmers in the sun
She stands under a beautiful crabapple tree, swaying in the wind as she glissades across the meadow
Singing cheerfully with the robins and the hummingbirds as she hops and wambles with beauty

Her long soft hair, which falls down to her waist, is filled with laurels and magnolias
She closes her eyes and smiles as the sweet scents of nature fill her soul
A grazioso of the sparrows sounds across the prairie, softly filling her ears as she sighs deeply
Her light breath of music swims in the sky, the griseous clouds above velate with loves colors

She listens to the little fledglings chirping in the tree, she joyfully skips to the tree
She watches as the birds flap their wings and jump to try to fly away
She softly lets them crawl upon her palms as she holds them with loving care
With such joy, the little birds soar off into the sky, flying with grace, as she cheers with delight

Smiling with felicity, she begins to sing a sweet song that echoes softly with the breeze
A serenade she sings, straight from her heart to me
She calls my name as she cries in tears of joy, as her hand is gently over her heart
She says she wants to soar through life with me, forever being by my side

I open my eyes, I begin to pray
That I’ll find this girl of such love someday
She is the one I will someday love
She is my dream…

Noah,
This is exceptionally beautiful as all your writngs are.I know that one day you will find your love.I could place myself in this scenery with your words as if I were there. It's like you draw me into your words. You have such a beautiful and romantic heart.don't ever let that change.

Yes Noah, you will find her. Gosh I wore flowers in my hair a long time ago..
So long.
You have a beautiful floating way of writing romance. I love it.

a heart and soul that is full of light
and love...and it comes spilling out
on these pages of blue. take care sweet
friend, and don't worry you WILL find

you...in the meantime keep making the

Noah! I believe I have an artist that can portray your beauty in your poem! She is very talented as you are and this picture popped into my mind. I hope you like it!

Noah,

How do you manage to get the perfect blend of romance and beauty EVERY time.   I love your writing... it's so beautiful.  And I agree that is wonderful to see a face with the poetry

I thoroughly enjoyed this read full of rich images.  Do re-read first amd second line...I may be way off base but could they not be combined to not use dream in different tenses so often?
You have the soul of a great poet.
