"Mommy, what's a Beatle?" She did love me (yeah, yeah, yeah) Lined up at the movies Music played She held my hand I don't recall the movie, just the music while we waited. The same word can mean two different things: A BEETLE is a little bug, usually kind of tough-shelled, less scary than a bee or a spider. A BEATLE is a man, often quite sensitive, but unafraid of massive crowds of screaming, manic women. Daughter, that's a Beatle. (You should know that, yeah, yeah, yeah) ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ My earliest clear memory of THE BEATLES in any way, shape or form is of hearing them played over the loudspeaker at the local movie theater, while we waited in line to go see...(??)...whatever was the matinee on that bright, sunny day in the early 1960s. I was somewhere near four years old. I can remember standing there and asking my mother, "What's a beatle?" after the DJ introduced the song.  (smiles) Sooooooo cute! (sigh) I could imagine The Beatles being surrounded by reaching girls and loud laughter and applause! (smiles) I love The Beatles so very much, and it makes me so happy to see new generations enjoying them just as much! (smiles) I love it!!!
