Someone asked her to picture herself in words
And to describe herself to them as best she could

She placed the pen to paper
Nervously
As she was not accustomed
To displaying her self image
To others

Slowly the ink drew a straight line
Symbolizing the way to her heart

The next mark
Was a gentle but pronounced curve
Harrowing the top of the line
Sloping to the right
And connecting midway

Showing the way to the center of her core
However curving...still she was whole
Capitalizing her passion
Dotting a single period
Confident
That it was unnecessary for her to clarify
For it was as perfect as a welcomed
Scarlet letter.

The letter P.
For Poet
Leaving just enough
To the imagination

It's all in the mind
Except for what's in the heart.

While I do not disagree in any way that you are indeed a wonderful poet...to limit the description of the inner you to one letter would be selling short the depth and beauty you have shared and shown us. A poet...philosopher...a gentle heart all are but a part I think of what you are inside...

as usual..a unique and wonderful write from your pen to our eyes...

Dear Regina, I am sure that every letter in the alpabet alone could not describe the true you, there would be a need for a whole palete of colour, a brush, an artist and the backdrop of imagination, a stick figure description no. You've a mind filled with dreams, a hand filled with talent and a heart to share.
Regina the poet, buy the beauty in your words we picture you each day.

Great work Regina once again.

Sincerely
Rick
