Upon the bend in cursed rage
I thrust my pen against the page
I curse my lack of forward thought
repeating the past seems my lot
I have no wisdom or thoughts to share
my mind has withered, now lays bare
but I clench my teeth and compose again
hoping, soon, my drought will end

just words
my birds
just words

but sing all the same

Muse missing musings?
Sometimes I think my muse hides my pen on purpose. Maybe she just wants the day off.
