A door never opened
Standing with rusted hinges
Quietly waiting
Brass knob so cold

Will warmed flesh one day grasp it
Turn it
Finally pull it open
Shrieking metal and all

Since you are there, you make that decision for us

Well done.  I love the presentation!

I pray that the door is opened by warm flesh, my friend. I guess you just need to put out the welcome mat. You have said a lot in this poem and as usual I have probably misread it but nevertheless that is my response. Magnificent writing, Robert. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(big hugggsssssss) One door will always close, but then, another will open, and one will lead you straight to all the love you can ever dream of and so much more! (smiles) Oh Robert, I am so so happy to see you here! (big hugggssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet brother, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
