Imagine a monochromatic rainbow.

A sky only one hue of blue.

Trees and grasses one shade of green.

All one color, me + you.

Blending is beautiful,

mixing is good,

and I believe in World Unity,

and think most everyone should.

But I don't want everything

to look exactly the same.

Spare me the equation of

I x 2.

I cherish the differences between

Me and You.

Vive l'difference ... or something like that

You have struck the very core of the subject.  Your piece is not only insightful but truthful!

BRAVA!
AUTHOR!

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Why, thank you for your generosity. And yes, I'm glad you and I are very, very  different...yet the same in so many crucial ways. Oui, monsieur, Vive la difference!!!

Midnitesun,
See, we aren't that much different! 'Cause I really like this and love completely the concept that created it.

Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either.  larry c

Well thank you, Robert! And someone tried to tell me Texas was God's country...
We'll probably catch heck from all our Texans if they read that we think otherwise.

Larry, I posted my reply. LOL

ctowen, thank you so much for your comment. And it is so true, variety is the spice of life.   We are lucky at this board, the variety is so tantalizing and interesting.
