You keep trying desperately to be like me Two identical palm trees swaying in the breeze You buy the same exact clothes Even wear my shade of polish on your toes Don't get me wrong, It's ok to idolize someone else but only if you still know how to be yourself You browse my room like a shopping mall before deciding on your next purchase Michele, God made you different than me And it was for a purpose Really I don't want to crush your feelings but honestly I'm either going to jump out of my skin Or hit the ceiling If I flirt, you flirt with the same man If I sunbathe, you compete to get a darker tan I don't take as a compliment When you idolize me like a celebrity I give you a little VIP and you try to duplicate me I just don't get it Becoming your friend was a mistake Your making me regret it You say my man isn't a great catch but he certainly can swim If he's such a tadpole then why do you want him? He's my big mouth bass Please stop being so envious He doesn't want your fat ____ |

On a different level, I kinda pity your friend, coz she's so insecure and has such low self-esteem that she has to adopt someone else's personality. Let her know how you feel. She's really getting out of hand, isn't she? I can even feel your frustration flowing through the lines. And if you could, ^.^ catch that big mouth bass and keep it in a tank for the time being...  |
