Upon my plate, a large trout lay.
It's eye was black and fishy.
When I put my fork into it,
It seemed a trifle squishy.

"Waiter," I asked,"Has this fish
Been properly prepared?"
Just then a cry rose from the plate,
"Some water quick, I'm scared."
