Never never will he know what his voice does to me He'd be amazed (I think he would) at the transform key of "me" He will never hear the notes of my voice without emote the simple yearning's purity-- desire---hardened within me. He will never, never feel the me in soft of melted steel... I paint him in colors surreal as if his soul was mine--I deal the Tarot of his very soul... I read the cards and I grow old. I flip a coin and think why not what have I to lose I've got a life of blindness striking cane-- just one night I re-arrange and strike the chord I'll ring the bell and damn my soul eternal hell... for one spark of vision, true... Say it's so. I will hold you. |
