I love you sweet darlin
You know that it's true
Everything you do and everywhere you go
I am a part of you

I'm watching this dream
Evolve into reality before my very eyes
You captivate my soul
Paint me a beautiful picture of love in heavenly skies

Who'd have ever guessed
A pair like us falling in love
Though neither of us can really explain it
I know it was a love sent from above

I cherish you today
For all the days after that
I love you deep and true
That is a simple fact

You came into my heart
On a cool September wind
My broken and weary heart
You certainly did mend

I stand in awe of our love
The majestic powers that be
Have helped create a love
That shall last for eternity

Now it's up to me and you
To make this thing last true
Just remember one thing sweetheart
Yes, I do love you
