Young Kelara

at the knee of Elders, listening close
patience not of child, but raw wisdom
laying dormant in young budding mind
ever eager to fully blossom

her attention held fast, her mind recording
all their tales of that gone long ago
consuming words, she felt in her bones
reveling in memories she could not know

things spoken of bygone days
days lost within the passing time
remembered then recited
now hidden in riddle and rhyme

visions revealed, things that will  come
heroine yet to be
woman of courage ~
inner voice confiding, “that woman is me”

Now this is what your pen has to offer and you are stretching your talent wonderfully in this series.  So very nice to see your poetry reaching the new levels that we all knew it could.  Thank you for supplying the links to the first two, as I much enjoyed them as well and it saved me from searching for them, not that I wouldn't have but time is precious.  This is a night of wonderful reads and your works have been a HUGE part of that.  Superb penning and I can't wait to see your growth continue.  Bravo.

Susan,

Do you know how it pleasures me to see such writing of yours and to know that this story continues.  You're writing just amazes me.  I mean it.    I am so proud of the growth I'm seeing here.  WELL DONE, sweet friend.
BIG (((hugs))) to you!

Allow me to ditto mark and michaels words...
they say it well ...
another one for my collection ...
blossom on girlie-girl

I can be your hero baby ... I will kiss away the pain
I will stand by you forever ... you still take my breath away ...

Excellent series! I love the characters and look forward to reading the rest of their story. But now that I'm hooked, you know I'm going to be nagging you to hurry! LOL.
