Grandma’s Advice By Larry Chadwick When you’re young and still know it all, You wonder what in the world is aging for. It seems that you're not in need of any advice, But as time goes by you learn some more. Grandma was in the autumn years of her life, I wanted her to know that to the end I’d care. Conceding now that I really did not know it all, It was time to see if she was still willing to share. I asked to hear her words of wisdom about marriage, If on this subject she was able to shed some light. She got that cute little grin and offered me a wink, Yes Sonny, you can either be happy or you can be right! Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either. larry c |
