For my sweet little granddaughter, Abigail

What dances through your mind sweet little girl
To cause that precious smile of delight
Has God sent little angels to unfurl
The mysteries of heaven through the night?

What secrets would you tell if you could share
With us that charming land within your head
Do fairies twirl about your teddy bear
And sprinkle star-dust magic on your bed?

Do tiny pups and kitties roll around
In endless play to cause hilarity
Within your dreamland world could there be found
A doting soul who looks a bit like me?

May only good befall you without fail
Awake, asleep, forever, Abigail.

My gosh - You ask a question - "What do you think they dream of?" is what you said, wasn't it? Then you create a heavenly piece to answer your own questions...

Oh Denise!  This is just adorable, and oh so sweet!  I think they dream about fairies and unicorns, and angels, and carousels and...gee, wouldn't it be wonderful to sleep and dream like a baby again?
