How many thoughts could I possibly have of you in just one day?
A hundred, thousand, any clues on this one?
Tell me this....how many beats of my heart occur in just one hour?
Can it possibly be a sum that my mind can match?
Is there any link between blood and brain?
Why does my heart respond to my brain, could it be the pace?
Oh dearest, I must say it certainly is a fun, fun race.

You enter a room, my heart skips.  You leave....it stops.
You call my name, it races.  You don’t speak...it sputters.
My heart, though just an organ of  flesh, of blood in many veins,
it knows who you are, the sound of you, the smell of you.

My limbs know you as well.  Shaking at your touch.
Heavy at the thought of losing you.
Wet with perspiration at the uninhibited sight of you.
Energetic at the thought of loving you, you lying there.

My soul, an integral part of me, I cannot explain this.
For each night when I love you fully, I feel faint.
I feel as though something within me has pulled free.
I feel as if something has joined between us as one.

I must say that all these feelings are new.
That, before you, this man never experienced them this powerful.
And, I dare say....I pray to never lose this joy that I have.
For...my love.....tis your soul that meets mine.
Above my closed eyes as I become yours...

Beautiful and romantic write, Magnus.  I'd say she is one lucky lady to inspire such wonderful poetry.  Nicely done.

The love you have for your wife shines brilliantly in this beautiful poem. I am sure when you read it to her tears will fill her eyes. Absolutely beautiful.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

She sure is one lucky lady to have something like this writtten about her!!
Very well done too, Magnus.
Hugs, Nancy.
P.S. Better give the hug to your wife!
Or explain that I always sign that way!

M.E.M.  (short)...hope is okay...or should i
just say Melody?  anywhoo....  this lady,
my bride of a whole bunch of years...didn't
know that she had a poetic husband with
a ton of feelings until he finally flipped
a switch in his brain a few years back...

Now she sits bewildered and awestruck...

with a smile on her face...

sing one to her...but we shall overcome...
