Perfect faces in perfect places.
Even I fall into the trap of perfection.

I try to write the perfect romance poem, is it real?
Will any of us ever have a perfect relationship?
Will we have the perfect mate, with perfect features?
Will it be like the perfect faces on TV?
The answer lies in one word.....
PERCEPTIONS

What we perceive ourselves or others to be.
That is the key to our lives.
If we perceive we are not what we want to be..
Well.  We are not satisfied about it.
If we are mature about it, we accept it or....
We try to make it better.  Or we do both.
But where does BETTER stop?
When do we accept who, what and where we are?

Some say that they hope they have a relationship one day.
One of old with chivalrous Knights, men of steel.
How many of us guys will ever be that Knight?
How many of us will do the flowers, candy,
cards and things like we always should?

Or....do we just have to accept ourselves and....
try to be respectful and courteous and kind.
Maybe never always being that way, but trying, always trying.  And not having a lame excuse
for not trying.

Am I the perfect husband, father, man, brother, American???
My humble answer is no...
But I am trying to accept who I am and be better. A resounding yes.
I am trying to be sensitive to my family’s needs.
I am trying to put me second or third on the pecking post.

I am trying to mature, use perspective.
I am trying to grow...
Even at my age...

Very cool thoughts, Magnus.  Was actaully talking about the perception thing last night.  Suppose there are as many perceptions as there are realities.  We each have our own.  Enjoyed this alot.

YOUR FOCUS DETERMINES YOUR REALITY
well said well said.
We all have a gift, Magnus,
it is called 'freewill', and I'm sure you are aware of it, but believe me I'm as lost as you.... yet perfection, I believe, IS possible, as long as we have our freedom

I don't think we are ever to old to mature further or to stop learning.  It's what life is all about.  I love watching you stretch yourself, Magnus.  Well done.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.
