My God
but it is lonely here
each star twinkling
back the tears
every breeze
a tease of leaves
mocking me
in memories...

The fire dims
and I'm afraid
to gather wood
from shadow's grave
My God, it is
too lonely here...
shooting stars
drip sky in tears...

I wish I had
the strength you thought--
perseverence
that I ought,
I wish I would not
gather moss
in hug of chest
a comfort's cost---
reconciliation
tossed
as the fern so strickens me
in sleep--the leaves won't let me be...
curled within the crook of tree
as the eyes of night watch me.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Karen, I can relate to this feeling so very well, where the night is so dark I am anxious in what tomorrow brings, and my hopes dwindle. (sigh) But I also know just as long as we all have each other, we can walk together and accept whatever lies ahead with love. (smiles) Wonderful expressions, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet serenity, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

If I but only could ... I would
Light the night to hold you tight
If my pen possessed the verse
I'd write the rhymes to free thee from this curse
I'd sing for you a lullaby ...
dry the endless tears you cry
If I but only could ... I would
heal thee with my poetry ...
sleep in keep of peace sweet serenity

I can be your hero baby ... I will kiss away the pain
I will stand by you forever ... you still take my breath away ...
