Rolling in and out
lost in the fog
enveloped in a haze
camouflaging the view.

Obscured behind a cloud
limiting my visibility
I long to lie in the sun
before it goes down on me.

I rise and fall
changing with the tides
in time on the charts
casting shadows in the moonlight.

Tear drops in my eyes
swirling pools at my feet
clouds in the fog
misty rains in shades of blue.

BRAVO!!!!Nice to see you BluesSarenade. I love to put a face to a poet. And I love misty rain but not the sadness it brings. There is some so gentle about this poem.  BRAVO!!!A wonderful poem from a wonderful lady.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Lovely poem. Yes, lying in the sun is much better than the misty shades of blue. I hope the sun shines brightly for you

A song like quality in this solemn stroll...blue strokes on the canvas, for sure.

Beautiful poem
"Tear drops in my eyes
swirling pools at my feet
clouds in the fog
misty rains in shades of blue."

That is exactly the way I see..
you said it so well.

I love the mist and the fog, but I do hope the sun shines for you real soon.

Thank you all for saying the nicest things.
The fog will lift when I least expect it, and the sun will come out tomorrow, I just have to believe it will.

I appreciate you all, please forgive me if the cats got my tongue.

Again, I thank you kindly.
