Petals Beyond The Window
~*Marge Tindal*~

Beyond the window, with shades drawn
there came a fragrance on the dawn
Sweet recall of rose in bloom
sweeping fragrance of perfume
across my morn of mourning
One short year you've been gone
left to soon - gone too long
I feel your spirit - see a trace
of sunlight that seems out of place
Beckoning me to windowed pain
slats in open once again
There caressing the window pane
soft pink petals of memories blossoming
just as you promised~

*sigh* a poem filled with softness and pain. You have made the vision of it come alive so that I could feel the total effect of you words. Absolutely stunning.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

As tender as beautiful as the rose-and the memories it holds-is this poem.

God bless America, my home sweet home.

Marge~ The image alone speaks volumes, and yet you bring so much more of it alive and put a story behind it that melts your heart.  Beautifully expressed as well as presented sweet lady, it touched my heart.

Hugs,
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

This has such soft beauty... loss painted with poetic perfection... and then the beautiful promise fulfilled. Wonderful! *S*

Marge,
This is one of my favorites by far. It is so pretty, with thoughts that I can relate to.
I will be keeping this one in my library.

Hugs,
Deb
