Land of Never-ending Summers

Restless
I pace around the empty room
Aimless

Thoughtless
A blank mind and a troubled heart
Frustrated

Defeated
Hands covering my face, I slid onto the floor
Tired

Emotions
They rage in my head
Messy

Excited
A new year, a fresh start
Hopeful

Useless
With no goals, a blank future
Desperation

Happiness
Gathering of family and friends
Joy

Warmth
Love feels my heart
Laughter

Sadness
To be apart from loved ones
Reluctance

Optimistic
It will soon be over, I'll be back
Glad

Gloomy
It seems like a long way
Lonely

BRAVO!!!!You took so many emotions and drew a perfect picture of each one. I love it. Very well done. I am just glad we don't have them all at once. Can you imagine the turmoil that would create in our heads.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

to coin a rock song "it's in the way that you use it......" by Eric Clapton one of my all time favorites...and emotions?  It's all in the way that you use them.

Wonderful expression here, Mon Cherie.  The flow of emotions was remarkable!

Once again, Thanks for commenting on my work. I'm still trying, and as a friend once told me, write about your experience. And, well, I try to do it.

Those emotions were a tough one to handle when they surfaced almost all at once. At the end, I couldn't even figure whether I should feel happy or hopeless.

THank goodness, though... it doesn't happen all the time, else I'd be going bonkers soon.
