~*~ Promises Under A Full Moon ~*~

~*~
I am but a delicate droplet,
swimming in a sea of endless love.
Shimmering in truth,
by the light of a full moon,
I rise naked before you,
with my soul exposed in this gentle breeze.
As waves of passion wash over me,
can you not hear my pleading cry.
I am fragile, transparent,
a kindred spirit needing
to be awakened to love.
Come closer my love please.
Take my hand, hold it firmly.
With it, I give myself to you.
Be gentle with me, for I give you my heart.
As this glowing orb above us witnesses
my sworn pledge to you of my love,
can you not promise me?
My heart is not cold, as those you have held;
it is as soft and warm as a tropical breeze.
I want to give myself to you,
and you, my love are ripe to receive.
Take me, explore me, I beg you,
feel, smell, and taste my very essence.
Look carefully into my soul,
honesty and warmth lies there.
Feel it, explore it, experience it.
There is nothing hidden, no secrets.
Love me completely under this full moon,
but only if you can promise me this ~
Love me, for who and what I am,
or set me free to drown in my sorrow.

The ending is so, so, so so, very powerful....A true picture of poetic wonder. And the grapics compliment the piece rightly so. Since this night is a full moon.... it is magnetically appropiate. Written with inner passion.    Maggie ((~.~))

You always write so well and this picture
certainly enhances every word and every
droplet of a syllable that you share.

Wowzeroonies!  Passion has never been spoken and captured more beautifully than you have done in this!  And, I must agree with Maggie...the last verse was simply incredible..."Love me completely under this full moon, but only if you can promise me this ~Love me, for who and what I am,
or set me free to drown in my sorrow."
Absolutely awesome, my friend!
Hugs and much love to you, ~*~dawn~*~

Elegant and beautiful writing Sharon.  Into the library this goes.

Well thank you all for reading this one, it was using metaphors to show how fluid love can be, like water running through your fingers.  I really appreciate your time in reading it.

Mysteria, the graphix and poem were stunningly beautiful, and Moonlight Sonata is one of my all time favorites.  I love the way you blend the words, the sounds, and the art into one sensually delightful package.

I love the graphics and the poem.  It is set in a perfect dream world with such promises to come with only promise to make and keep.
