The Shores of Alone

Late night thoughts floating their own way
no concern resolutions made.
They fly to his arms, unwanted
he turns them aside undaunted.
Yet my heart will not be contained
though its uninvited to stay.
Needing to reach out and touch him
knowing I cannot, must not bend.
I'll only end up in the dirt
He has no interest in my hurt.

This poem is going no where, I think I just need help to keep from calling emailing or any of that, to  someone who has effectively told me not to bother. HELP

Just keep writing it all out.....that is the best way to handle it. You do not need anymore hurt from him. Try to be strong, dear one. ***hugs***I know the desire to go back to him even knowing he does not want you...it is the craving inside to connect with someone. Dear one, connect with yourself and keep him out of your life. ***hugs***

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Sandra, I feel so badly for you.  Keep busy, keep writing, sing, dance, whatever it takes..but, no emailing or calling him...guess it's sort of the worst kind of withdrawl symptoms you can have.
It WILL get better!
Hugs, Nancy.

catalinamoon, take out a sheet of paper and write down all of the qualities you have. Then go to the mirror and take notice of everything good about you. Remind yourself that you have value and worth and that anyone who doesn't want what you have to offer is not worth crying over. You deserve someone smart enough to recognize all you have to give...the loss is his.

you're the image of me
glassed, mirrored
by incomplete verses,
my lines to come
enflamed
to gift you
like you have me........

You all are so good, thank you for caring, and I will keep myself in check, just needed some reminding momentarily. This computer makes it so easy to send out a pitiful email. Aha, but I did not do it!
Balladeer, thank you for that comment, I will try to remember it.
Doreen, yes, how, where do we start...

Send those emails to me, or to Balladeer, or someone here, but not to the one who has asked you to refrain. It's difficult, but a firm no should be respected. So write it out, shout it out, but don't send it out, unless you need to, then you can send it to me, and I'll tuck it away for safe keeping in case you want to take the words back.

Catalinamoon, I am so sorry you are feeling so much pain. I wrote a poem today and posted it. You can check it out, if you want to. It is called "Just For You". I true hope your pain goes away real soon and you find someone who really cares about you and loves you. I wish for you all of the happiness in this world.

When something like this happens, all you can really do is try to let go of those feelings by focusing on other things in your life.  It's easier said than done, but int the end way more beneficial I think.  I hope things get better for you soon.

Sandra, your poem went everywhere you needed to go.  Sometimes we can't help ourselves from reaching out, even if it means holding on to what isn't there anymore.

I care~
