Sunset palm beaches beckon,
From lonely rain dreched pavement,
Concrete srceen and deep black fog,
I'd love to escape forever,

Mobile phones, eletric word prcessor,
Fast cars, fast trains and super planes,
Could give all up to breathe easy,
Technological plane ain't my game,

Pollution clouds my world with rubbish,
And people falter though life without a second glance,
I long to sit on a tropical beach,
Watch the sea every day and live simply.

I breathe the dust, the dust is me.

*sigh* to sit anywhere while letting the magic of the waves inspire your thoughts would be a wonderful thing. This is a beautiful poem filled with a dream. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Sounds peaceful. Problem is, all those beaches are crowded these days, and sunbathers have cell phones and laptops instead of lovers in their hands.
Where are the deserted stretches of beach? The ones where you can walk a mile and maybe run into a crab or two, or be visited by sandpipers or pelicans without hearing the ding-a-ling of Technology.
But what would we do without it? I'd be forced to use my pen and paper again, and lick those nasty stampes in order to get my message to you?
Boy, am I rambling? Nice to meet you, Moon Dust. Your poem triggered a few thoughts.

Amen to that last line! Right now I think that is everyone's dream.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Maria, this is so so sad to see so much of the world sacrificing the simple beautiful things of the world for advances. (sad sigh) If only we can all see the beauty in our dreams and all we're blessed to see! Beautiful, sweet Maria! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
