early rise
streaks of red hue
through morning clouds
night spills waking blue

looks like old glory
waving up high
in this...
my morning sky

declining image
as sun makes way
softly in mind
vision will stay

this morning patriotic
red floats away pink
on white fluffy clouds
through blue sky think

thank you Seymour   You wouldn't have believed my morning sky, the clouds really were red and in lines no less...it was beautiful. just after writing this it was all pink and fading fast. It was beautfiul to get to see.

*S*  I am glad to see all the flags of late and the thought of seeing one more painted in the sky.  Good thoughts and nice poem.

*sigh* I love to watch the sun rise..it is so incredibly beautiful. You have blended it perfectly by seeing your flag waving in its colors. I absolutely love the way you put it and the vision you gave me this morning. Thank you, so much.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

I don't do mornings, but if I did I would loved to have seen your patriotic sky.    This is very pretty, Susan. (((hugs)))
