He Loves You
He Loves her too
and her
and her
and YES
She'll do

As though the world
were a grocery store
he keeps on adding
more and more

More girls to love
More poems to write
he links them all
to this site

He tells them
each and everyone
I wrote this for YOU
My ONE true love

I wonder if they
ever knew
about the others
what they'd do

I've tried to tell him
that it's wrong
he has them wrapped on
his every word
which really is
quite absurd

It's kind of funny
and it's fun
to sit back and
watch what he's done

until I realize
the saddest part
these women
will  get
a broken heart

ahhhhhh!! words can be powerful, yes!

but people are people
and people know where
they're going or wanted to go
and so? perhaps it might be true........
perhaps he loves me more than you
perhaps he loves them all, perhaps,
and maybe there's no second guessing,
much is more and less contesting
Love, the great confusing jestered
clown? no, just illusion festered
on the brink of links of longing.....

never  judge
therein, the wronging

I couldn't say it better than Doreen but I do feel compelled to add this little bit. Within my soul burns the heart of a romantic..and maybe I'm a bit naive but I believe love isn't real until it's given to someone else... and all we can do as friends/lovers/partners is return that love tenfold. If by twist of fate, they cannot give you the same love in return, then what else can you do but hope someone else will accept the heart you have offered? As this poem relates to me, I am guilty as charged but only because I have spent my life looking for and will continue to look for that one perfect soul who shares my romantic dream and completes me. I may have taken the wrong steps along the way, I may have fallen off the path, I may have tried to charge through the underbrush and blaze my own misguided selfish way (lol)... but the road still beckons ahead and I intend to follow it to its destination.

      the reformed "Casanova" perhaps? (lmao)

Some do love many...and some will not stop until they find the right one...
is that right or wrong...it depends on if the person is truthful and honest or if they are deceitful...I try to form relationships with those I can talk to face to face...it is easier to judge truth this way...James

I guess it only becomes wrong when at the same time he is telling them all the same thing and they are giving their heart to him. My heart goes out to the women who are deceived this way for their pain is real when they were just guilty of loving someone too much. Strangely enough my heart also goes out to the man who feels he needs to collect all these woman. He must be very insecure about himself to need reassurance of love from so many. I too seach for the one who can match my heart and soul but only one at a time and no married men or attached men please. This is a powerful first poem with a great message. Welcome to Passions. You will find the people here are fun loving and filled with great hearts.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Dead on write... I know... I believed. Unfortunately, wide open eyes after the fact only allow the tears to flow more freely.

You Again, This is cute...  too many people out there, are like this....  men and women, can't give their heart to just one... cause they are unsure who is the "right" one... so they share with everyone... Hope you weren't the one who got suckered by him !

OK, so when does flirting become hurting? That's what you have to ask yourself..  There are many hopeless romantics out there, writing love poetry sunrise to sunset to sunrise. Most of it is harmless, innocent, playful, fun, and mostly well received by those who read it willingly. But if someone claims each and every poem is for one particular lover, and then says the same thing to others at the same time??? Well, that sounds like an immature selfish heart to me, and one you might not want to involve yourself with. But don't be too judgemental, it doesn't solve anything or help anyone get passed this kind of hurting. And who can say what the other's motives were?

It's only at the internet
That love can flow without restriction
Be aware of whom you talk to
It could be one with love addiction

Nevertheless a great poem you wrote

Welcome to Passions where love and friendship flow in many beautiful verses

i agree with jeff on the above..

i know only that i cannot judge lest i be judged..and i can only hope that what i get when i ask for honesty, is honesty..call me gullible, naive..i am those things..but i am a beleiver in love, and in people, and i tend to understand both sides at the same time..taking neither side in many cases..

this sounds like a dual with someone you love too much..someone you know you can slam without being shunned..only a true friend would take that..

however..it is good to see you here all the same..

i hope you take up residence to stay a while

and i hope you like honesty..cause youre likely to get it around here..

hugs, g
