TOUCHED

A spark, a glimmer, a warmth,
something where nothing once was.
No warning but something to notice,
out of the air and into
every breath.

Ignite, kindle, consume,
the starving emptiness submerged
within a burning thirst.
A moment, a time.
A life, an eternity.
All measure the significant flame.

Attraction, yearning, passion
char the hidden hollow of sanctuary
without fail, without a loss
and raises hope, trust, desire
to refresh the soul.

sigh......this is beautiful......a soul refreshed.  well written!

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

I like the heat in this poem.

Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream.
