A faint vibration
stirs above the ground
sweeps silently through the valleys
rustling through the leaves.

Ricochets off the mountains
swirls in the crevices
bending over backwards
blows between the trees.

Ripples lapping on the shore
cascading down the river
whispers in wind
a dance upon the breeze.

Swept up in a gust
like the moment that we seize.

Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream.

Welcome to passions.
wonderful entrance.

Look into the eyes of a man and
you will find the soul of the woman
who loves him...

This makes me think of the times when the trade winds are really kicking it around here...say about 25 mph...and your can hear the sound of the palm fronds blowing in the wind and it just stirs me up...James

I should be thanking you Decaflame,
I'm glad you enjoyed.

Thank you for the welcome Marge.
I tend to go heavy on the imagery.

I really like those little clapping
guys in your reply, they made me smile.
Thank you Startime.

I am truly enjoying
my stay here at passions.
Thanks for your nice reply Rusty Knight.

I'm glad you like my 'entrance',
something about the way you said that,
...just sashayin' into the room!
Thank you for reading Whisper's Caress.

Hi James, I lived on Maui for 10 years,
and yes I know the sound of the palm trees swaying, it is like music to our ears isn't it?  Can't help but stir us up a little bit.   Thank you.

I try to seize the moment, too
When serenaded in the blue,
Whispers rippling in my mind
I search the Passions, to "comfort find."

Welcome again. *s

I believe the moment is meant to be seized,
I certainly wouldn't want to waste it!

Thank you for your poetic reply Wynter.

Thank you Poet deVine, I appreciate what you said and for taking the time to read.

All of you have been so nice in welcoming me, I'm just so happy to be here.
Thanks walker.

I get your drift, yea the breeze is nice as long as it doesn't pick up speed.  I'm not too fond of the wind.
thank you very much for reading!
