I grieve, not for you, but for myself.
Knowing that when you are gone
I will go with you.

The flesh will remain, but the spirit will fade.
For without you, I am nothing.

I know this because, before you,
I was empty inside, like a vacant house.
Until you made my heart your home.

Filling me with laughter, pain and memories.

With perseverance even the snail reached the Ark.

A really well written work. ^,^
It is really nice to find someone who can stay in our hearts like u said, but it's also scary to think that this person will be so important that he controls what we feel as well.

My heart goes out to you, dear one. Once someone is in your heart it is just not possible to take them out again. I pray the future will have all the joy and happiness you desire to fill your heart again.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Poems should evoke emotions in those that read them.  This one sure does  I know these must be very rough times for you.  I hope writing helps to focus on the good memories.

A very scary emotion that is honest and real.  Very well done.
